At Sun Centre USA’s new Technology Center in Crystal Lake, IL., your operators can conduct trial runs of pouches on Sun Centre machines. Your operators can also be trained and certified, or recertified, at the Center without taking away from your own production schedules.
At the new Technology Center, you can explore Sun Centre USA’s advanced pouch making for small to large digital printers. Now film rolls can go directly to the pouch machine thanks to our unique integration of thermal laminating right on our unwind.
Plus, our advanced front-and-back registration technology can run two narrow films to create a pouch with reverse tuck gusseting, eliminated the need to insert the gusset. This is a huge advantage for the digital print market.
The same machinery can produce finished pouches, or run roll stock with a cross-web zipper applied for the front-fill/seal market, all in a simplified process.
New as of Q4 2018, Sun Centre USA has introduced our ability to produce chambered, flat-bottom pouches with multiple “compartments” of dry and/or liquid contents. Arranti has the pouch patent, and Sun Centre presently has the only pouch machinery successfully producing chambered pouches. This technology will also be presented at the new Technology Center.
Within the new Technology Center is Sun Centre USA’s machining center where parts for all makes and models of pouch machinery can be reverse engineered and manufactured — saving you time and money over many other OEM parts support offerings.
